Michael Crabtree is a selfish man who has now put multiple people at a disadvantage for part of the season. First off he JUST SIGNED TODAY. Thats problem enough. He puts the team that entrusted their faith to him on his backside right away.
Selfish, greedy people do not do well in sports. Now were 4 weeks into the season and he has to come in and try to learn everything that took all of the other players all of training camp and a few pro weeks to learn. He has no rep on the team, so who know how or if he will integrate into the offence.
I will acknowledge that there is a tremendous amount of talent in Crabtree, no argument there. But to be an effective player on a professional team you need to be a part of the team (that means fulfilling all of your team oriented obligations such as training camp). Now he accepts a six year deal thats not very far off of his original offer.
Way to screw yourself Crabtree, Congratulations. DRok
